Area of Use For Unlimited Kilometre Travel
The Metro area is defined as:
North: Noosa (Top of Sunshine Coast)
South: Coolangatta (Bottom of Gold Coast)
West: Toowoomba
Deposits – Car Hire Only
Credit cards are the preferred form of deposit although cash deposits can be accepted by prior arrangement to local residents only – please contact the office for more details. A pre – authorisation of $2500 is organised for those clients who do not take CDW, for clients who reduce their excess no pre-authorisation is required
Sports Car And Motorcycle Deposits – Age Restrictions Apply
A pre – authorisation of half the liability is to be taken on collection of either the sports cars or motorcycles rental. Eg Standard liability is $5000 so a pre – authorisation of $2500 is to be taken upon collection. Reduced liability is $2000 so a pre – authorisation of $1000 is taken upon collection.
Age of Drivers
The minimum age is 21 years of age and over to a maximum age of 85 years old. Drivers aged 21 – 24 years old do incur a higher insurance liability.
Towing
We have a selected number of vehicles that can be used for towing. The vehicles include Utilities, 8, 12 & 21 Seat buses and 4wd’s please contact the office to find out about the conditions. Please be aware that the trailer is not covered by our insurance for any damage that the trailer may cause to our vehicle or any other property, it is the responsibility of the hirer to insure the trailer.
Baby Seats
A small number of baby seats and booster chairs available for hire with the vehicle at a small additional charge. If you require a seat please make sure that you inform one of the staff when booking your vehicle so as to guarantee supply.
Roadside Assistance
All vehicles are covered by RACQ breakdown service provided that the fault is not driver related. If you have locked the keys in the car, have a flat tyre, run out of fuel or leave the lights on and RACQ are called out then an additional fee will be charged to the hirer for this service.
Fuel
Fuel is the customers responisibility. The vehicle is to be returned with the samelevel as it was collected with. Eg Collected with 1/2 tank must be returned with half a tank. If a vehicle is not returned at the same level then a premium fee will be charged to cover the cost of refuelling.
Late Fee
Vehicle hires are calculated on a 24 hour basis. ie: 1 day hire is 7.30 am 26/01/05 to 7.30 am 27/01/05. One hours grace is given then once the vehicle is 2 hours or more late than a full day will be charged.
Insurance – (Excludes Sports Cars and Motorcycles)
All vehicles come with basic insurance which is $2500 if you have an accident. This can be reduced by accepting an option called Collision Damage Waiver as details below;
Cars: Reduce excess to $300 for $15.00 per day.
8 Seaters, 4×4′s and Trucks: Reduce excess to $500 for $20.00 per day.
12 Seaters: Reduce excess to $750 for $20.00 per day.
21 Seaters: Reduced excess to $750 for $20.00 per day. Vans: Reduced excess to $750 for $15.00 per day.

Airport Collections
Brisbane International Airport Collections: Your car will be delivered to the Interanational airport and you will receive collection details via email roughly 24hrs prior to your arrival in Brisbane.
Brisbane Domestic Airport Collections: The car will either be left at the International Terminal and procedure sent through as per International Collection Procedure or the car can be left in the Long term Car park at the Domestic Terminal and parking charges are at the customers expense.
Cancellation Fees
If cancelled 25 days prior to pick up – No Fee
If cancelled 7 to 24 days prior to pick up – 20% of Gross Rental (minimum $250)
If cancelled less than 7 days prior to pick up – 50% of Gross Rental
If cancelled on the day of pick up or no show – 100% of Gross Rental
There is no refund for late pick up or early return of vehicle.
