STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All hires are subject to standard terms and conditions printed on the reverse of the rental agreement.

PAYMENT
Broome Broome Car Rentals accepts: Bankcard, Mastercard, Visa, Diners, EFTPOS and Cash.

All hirers are required to leave a signed credit card imprint as a security bond on the vehicle.

An authorisation for the amount of the applicable excess will be placed on the card for the

duration of the hire. Cash Security Bonds will not be accepted.

REGISTRATION RECOVERY FEE
Registration Recovery Fee is a flat daily fee of $3.50 per day.

AIRPORT FEES
Broome Broome Car Rentals offers complimentary airport pick ups and drop offs. Unlike most car hire companies, Broome Broome does not charge airport fees or taxes.

COMPLIMENTARY HOTEL PICK UPS & DROP OFFS
Broome Broome Car Rentals offers all clients complimentary hotel pick ups and drop offs.

DRIVER REGULATIONS
All hirers must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Drivers under the age of 25 will incur and age surcharge of $11 per day. All drivers must hold a current drivers licence. Provisional driver’s licences will not be accepted.
 

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
Broome Broome Car Rentals does not charge for additional drivers.

RENTAL PERIOD
The minimum rental period is 24 hours. Broome Broome Car Rentals does not offer a grace period.

The following charges will apply if a vehicle is late.
10mins - 59mins late 1/3 daily rate
60mins - 119mins late 2/3 day
120mins + full day rate

INSURANCE EXCESS
The excess is standard for multiple vehicle accidents and single vehicle accidents.
The insurance excess on the small vehicles (Echo, Corolla & Terios) is

$2750 with an option to reduce to $550 for an additional $16.50 per day.
The excess on the larger vehicles (Jeep, RAV4,Hilux, Landcruiser) is

$5000 with the following two options available.
OPTION 1 - $33 per day reduces the excess to $2750
OPTION 2 - $44 per day reduces the excess to $550

All insurance is void if the standard terms and conditions of the contract are broken,

if the vehicle is driven on the beach, or if the vehicle is immersed in water.
Tyre and Windscreen damage is not covered by the insurance and is the responsibility of the hirer.
Broome Broome Car Rentals vehicles are not permitted on any beach under any circumstances.
Insurance Conditions are subject to change.

VEHICLE RESTRICTIONS
Restrictions do apply as to where vehicles are permitted to travel. Destinations must be disclosed at the commencement of the hire. Travelling in restricted areas voids all insurance.
Toyota Echo & Toyota Corolla May not be driven on any unsealed road or beach.
Daihatsu Terios, Jeep Wrangler & Toyota RAV4
Suitable for travel to Willie Creek Pearl Farm, Quondong Point, Barn Hill and Broome Bird Observatory.

May not be taken to Cape Leveque or Windjana Gorge. May not be driven on any beach.
Toyota Hilux & Toyota Landcruiser Suitable for travel to Cape Leveque, Gibb River Road & Bungle Bungle National Park. May not be driven on any beach.

ONE WAY RENTALS
One way rentals are available upon request to Kununurra, Darwin, Derby, Perth, Karratha and Alice Springs. Additional Fees and conditions will apply.

CHILD SEATS
Baby and booster seats are available upon request at a charge of $5.50 per day.

Bolts are available upon request for no additional charge.

EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
Should the hirer require roadside assistance please contact Broome Broome as soon as possible.

Due to the remoteness of the surrounding areas it is possible that delays may be experienced

but Broome Broome will endeavour to keep these to a minimum.

WEATHER CONDITIONS
The weather patterns in the Kimberley are seasonal, and should you choose to travel between the

months of Nov – Mar it is highly possible that you will encounter monsoonal rain. Some roads in the

Kimberley do close in the event of rain. Delays in returning vehicles due to weather conditions

are the responsibility of the hirer. All insurance is void if driving on closed roads.
